Visual Product Designer

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Visual Product Designer with a passion for creativity and a deep understanding of young user needs.

You’ll be responsible for engaging visual experiences that resonate with young audiences. From designing memorable mascots to creating compelling storyboards and final visual designs for mobile apps or websites, you’ll bring stories to life while ensuring our products are visually exciting and easy to interact with.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAJOR TASKS:

• Mascot Design: Conceptualize and design fun, memorable, and engaging mascots that represent our brand and resonate with younger users.

• Storyboarding & Visual Narratives: Create storyboards that clearly communicate design concepts, product flows, and interactive moments for product features.

• Product Visual Design: Develop high-quality visual assets for web, mobile, and other digital platforms, ensuring they align with brand identity and user needs.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure a cohesive user experience and visual design system.

• User-Centered Design: Focus on designing experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing for a young audience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

(List down min years & experiences required)

• At least 3 years of experience in visual design, branding, or illustration, preferably with a focus on young or teen audiences.

• Strong ability to think outside the box and bring fresh, imaginative ideas to life…

• Proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, etc.)

• Ability to communicate design concepts effectively through storyboards and visual narratives.

• Experience in creating playful, relatable characters or mascots.

• Ability to work effectively in a team, receiving feedback and contributing ideas.

• A self-motivated, proactive approach with a genuine passion for design and a desire to continuously improve.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

• Animation or motion design skills are a plus.

• Knowledge of current design trends, especially within youth culture, entertainment industries.
