Transformation Management Office Manager

OPPORTUNITY

The Transformation Management Office Manager will oversee the execution of transformation initiatives at VinUniversity, focusing on planning, reporting, and organizing campaigns, events, and workshops to support the university’s Vision 2030 of becoming a world-class institution.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Coordination and Execution:

• Lead and manage the execution of VinUni’s Vision 2030 initiatives, ensuring alignment with the vision and objectives of the university.

• Develop and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring the timely completion of all key projects.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior management to drive the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

• Support the development and implementation of transformation strategies for achieving VinUni’s Vision 2030.

• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to senior leadership, providing insights on key performance indicators, challenges, and action plans.

• Monitor and assess progress towards VinUni’s 2030 goals and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

• Act as a key liaison between different departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration on transformation projects.

• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and support for transformation initiatives.

• Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance engagement and alignment across teams.

Resource and Risk Management:

• Oversee resource allocation for transformation projects, ensuring efficient use of personnel, budgets, and tools.

• Identify potential risks or roadblocks in the transformation process and propose solutions to mitigate or resolve issues.

• Ensure the successful management of transformation-related risks, ensuring that the projects stay on track and meet their objectives.

Process Optimization and Innovation:

• Continuously assess and improve processes within the Transformation Management Office to ensure the efficient execution of transformation campaign.

• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of best practices in managing transformation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field. A Master‘s degree is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, transformation management, or related roles. Experience in the higher education sector is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Knowledge of QS rankings, global university performance metrics, and the higher education landscape is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
