Technical cum Transport Manager ( Wind Power Project)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Do route survey and make proper route survey report for wind power projects.

 Consult and advise the best transport method statement for specific type of cargo.

 Design transport drawings for components of wind turbine.

 Supervise and control transport activities of projects.

 Making sure trailer configurations are properly prepared for transport activities as given schedule.

 Inspecting vehicles utilized for project before operation.

 Arranging repairs and routine maintenance for project’s vehicles and equipment.

 Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications.

 Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading.

 Manage and coordinate the transportation of cargoes to ensure timely delivery to site.

 Maintaining and completing accurate transport records.

 Managing transportation budgets and expenses.

 Organising team members.

REQUIREMENT:

 At least 8 years experience in heavy lifting and transport operation management.

 Background of transport planning, transport operation, project management, subcontractor management, customer relationship management, transport commercials.

 Knowledge of applicable Laws and regulations for heavy and oversized transportation.

 Willing for business trips.

 Work under pressure.

 Skill-set requirement:

- Good Autocad knowledge and skills.

- Knowledge of transport method statement for oversized and overweight cargoes.

- Knowledge of engineering, science and technology.

- Technical transport drawing design skills and knowledge.

- Knowledge of route modification is an advantage.

- Analytical thinking skills.

- Teamwork.

- Complex problem-solving skills.

- Good attention to detail.
