Technical Application Engineer (TAC)

TAC will consult MT customers through a proven, structured methodology where the Process Analytics solution will be deployed, knowledge transferred, best practices adhered to and meet customer demand. Core segment focus within F&B, Chemical & Pharmaceutical which requires advanced applications and product technical knowledge. The TAC work with sales team to tailor solutions and present to customers in various industries and applications.

- Establishes new growth platform and expand existing segments by conducting comprehensive market analysis and identify new solutions and applications.

- Develop strong application knowledge and serve as recognized expert for process improvement and development.

- Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and advancements

- Participate in pre-sales activities, including presentations and solution proposal writing

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Draft detailed technical documentation and manuals

- Improving system efficiency by consulting with end-users and providing innovative solutions.

- Collaborate with sales team to understand customer business needs and technical requirements

- Conduct testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure effectiveness

- Identify and develop application solutions that provide high value to local market.

- Ownership and manage the whole process starting from Installation, commissioning, training, and application troubleshooting.

- Conduct seminar, webinar and product training to increase the visibility of MT and potentially influence prospects.

-Troubleshooting and guide customers to solve issues with products and/or applications if needed.

Education:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Food Science, Biotechnology

• Written and verbal communication in English

Work Experience:

• At least 3-years' experience in consulting and managing projects relating to Process Analytics Instrumentation for Process Control.

• Technical background in Engineering of Water System, Water treatment, Power generation, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage is an added advantage.

• Open and effective communication style, excellent public presentation skills, strong people skills, cross-organization teamwork and the ability to interact with and influence the direction of the key opinion leaders in the industry

• Ability to work in a team in a matrix organization.

• Ability to conduct on-site training to increase end-user proficiency

• Analytical, assertiveness, creativity and effective problem-solving skills

• Demonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of the industry/ market/ competitors/ customers.

• Exceptional communication skills with customers, channel partners and internal teams.

• Willing to travel within the dedicated territory
