Teacher/ Tutor ( Cambridge Primary - Lower Secondary - IGCSE - AS & A Level - IB Diploma - AP)
Job description
1. Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students in line with the Cambridge curriculum for Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, A Level, AP, and IB Diploma, IELTS, SAT,... 2. Conducting regular assessments and providing feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and achieve their academic goals. 3. Creating and implementing individualized learning plans for students to ensure that they are making progress and achieving their full potential. 4. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance, and communicating regularly with parents and guardians to update them on their child's performance. 5. Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement school-wide policies and procedures, as well as participate in extracurricular activities. 6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest educational research and trends, and integrating new teaching methods and technologies into lesson plans where appropriate.
Job requirements
Qualifications: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field. - Teaching certification or qualifications such as PGCE or QTS. - Specialization in teaching one or more subjects within the CIE, AP, IB curriculum, such as Mathematics, Sciences(Physics, Biography, Chemistry), Humanities, English Languages & Literature, History, Geography, Business Studies, Computer Science, Design and Technology, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, ... Skills: - Excellent teaching skills, including the ability to plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons. - Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to the learning needs of individual students. - Good organizational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with colleagues. - Competent in using digital technologies and online learning platforms for blended or remote learning. - Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience: - At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in a secondary school or college setting, preferably in an international school or in a Cambridge curriculum setting. - Experience in teaching Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary Checkpoint, IGCSE, A Level, AP and/or IB Diploma, with a proven track record of student success and achievement. - Experience in designing and implementing individualized learning plans and assessments to support student progress and growth. - Experience in providing academic and pastoral support to students, including university and career guidance.
