Surveillance Officer (Chuyên Viên Giám Sát Camera)

OVERVIEW OF POSITION

A Surveillance Officer is responsible for monitoring casino premises using surveillance equipment to ensure the safety and security of patrons, employees, and the property. They observe activities, identify suspicious behavior, and report incidents to maintain a secure environment. The role is vital in preserving the security and integrity of the Casino/E-Gaming Club, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting investigations, and collaborating with the security team and management.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor live footage from surveillance cameras across the Club premises.

• Operate surveillance equipment to ensure full coverage of the casino.

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards while delivering excellent customer service.

• Maintain and check the functionality of all surveillance equipment.

• Conduct system checks to ensure cameras and data storage are working correctly.

• Monitor activities and identify suspicious behavior.

• Prepare audit and incident reports for the Surveillance & Security Manager.

• Detect and respond to threats, cheating, theft, and other incidents.

• Analyze incidents to identify patterns and improve preventive measures.

• Monitor internal activities during evacuations and coordinate with relevant teams.

• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with surveillance technologies.

• Work closely with Security, Operations, and Compliance departments.

• Assist in investigations by reviewing recorded footage.

• Ensure all activities comply with local regulations.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory all security equipment at the start of each shift.

• Proactively monitor surveillance systems for suspicious activities or malfunctions.

• Maintain the Log and Equipment Database.

• Detect and report cheating, theft, or illegal activities.

• Report system issues to Surveillance Superiors for maintenance.

• Maintain an understanding of Surveillance and departmental procedures.

• Keep the CCTV room secure, clean, and accessible only to authorized personnel.

• Coordinate with other departments for smooth security operations.

• Ensure recorded footage is stored securely and in compliance with policies.

• Report incidents with detailed, accurate information.

• Participate in training on surveillance technologies and protocols.

• Support Security Officers during emergencies using CCTV.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requisite Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication in Vietnamese and English.

• Ability to work under pressure and independently.

• Quick learner of surveillance and security policies.

• Hardworking with good coordination skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate or higher.

• No experience required, but prior experience in casinos or e-gaming clubs is a plus.

• Knowledge of gaming operations and major casino games (Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, Sicbo, Slots) is preferred.

Language Skills:

• Ability to write clear reports in English.

• Capable of completing and presenting reports and instructions clearly.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit for long periods while monitoring surveillance.

• Mental alertness and composure in high-pressure situations.

• Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
