Supplier Performance & Development Specialist (Mechanical Materials)

Our client, a new set-up company is seeking for Supplier Performance Management and this position will be based in Ha Noi office

- Work with overseas team.

- Oversee and manage the operational quality and logistics performance of a group of suppliers starting from production launch.

- Ensure alignment of improvement initiatives outlined by relevant departments (Quality, Purchasing, and Procurement).

- Lead corrective action plans with suppliers in cases of recurring underperformance and continue until performance is restored to acceptable standards.

- Conduct industrial assessments when necessary.

- Provide guidance and monitor the development of improvement plans within existing purchasing agreements, aimed at enhancing suppliers' industrial maturity. Manage and follow up on recovery plan implementation.

- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Materials or Chemical or related.

- At least 7-10 years experience at relevant position in supplier management or development

- Good command of English.

- Good communication skill.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skill

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

- Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team

- Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others; uses resources effectively.
