Sourcing Specialist

My Source Global is a sourcing and trading company. We provide exceptional product and factory sourcing, product development, quality control, distribution and manufacturing control across South-East Asia since 2009.

Overview the role:

• Sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, lead time and quality, docs related categories sourcing.

• Understand the production technique, product characteristics, quality standards of the company.

• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.

• Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.

• Regularly update the market trends, prices, competition, legislation.

• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, Purchasing policies, company code of ethics and procedures guidance during supplier negotiation and contract award process.

Responsibilities:

• Contact suppliers to resolve quality, price, and delivery or invoice issues.

• Responsible to check overall status of incoming materials at suppliers: Production, packaging materials, labels, cushion, iron frames etc.

• Follow all necessary testing for material/products to ensure the requirements.

• Support and proactively look for improvements to the sourcing process.

• Understand customer enquires before sending request to Factory.

• Take full responsibility to instruct, share information to Factory, Customer and internal Team clearly & must follow company structure and procedures

• Follow up the project closely to complete the task perfectly; collect customer’s information fully, cooperate to related Team to solve problem.

• Problem solving skill, ensuring not to affect company performance.

• Keep to expected deadlines, timeline assigned by Manager

• Complete the shipping document required for each shipment

• Try to upgrade Product Knowledge related to various product types.

• Comply with the instructions of the management team

• Well understand company regulations & policies

• Friendly cooperation, professional attitude in company

• Other duties may be assigned.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum of 7-8 years previous experience in sourcing.

• Strong Leadership skills.

• High level of attention to details and analytical thinking

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese. Third language is a plus,

• Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, MS Team.

• Experience in order tracking and management is key.

• Strong ability to problem solves in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills including: the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and message appropriately and the ability to readily work across multiple departments in a collaborative manner.

Terms: Perm (2 months’ probation)

Salary/rate: Negotiable
