Senior Purchasing Officer

CSW Industrials (Nasdaq: CSWI) an US publicly traded company in Nasdaq stock market with approx. $4B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 3 business units - Contractor Solutions, Engineered Building Solutions and Specialized Reliability Solutions. We’re having significant manufacturing – T.A Vietnam - base in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai.

Purchasing is defined as: Sourcing, negotiating, and buying of goods, materials, and services to meet the Company’s operational requirements.

We’re looking for a Senior Purchasing Officer responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires a strategic approach to purchasing, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: Oversee and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure advantageous deals.

• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and potential suppliers, ensuring the organization remains competitive.

• Cost Management: Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support in meeting those needs.

• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

• Reporting: Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market trends for senior management.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior purchasing staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory standards

• Strong negotiation, drafting contract, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

• Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities.

• Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.

• Commercially and financially aware

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy

Candidates must have:

• A relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred.

• At least 5 – year experience and strong in direct materials buying (steel, aluminum, powder coating, plastic components)
