Our company is growing rapidly, and we are now looking for experienced Senior Lead Engineer (Case Goods) to join the team of Product Lifecycle Management Team in our Thao Dien office in Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage a team of CAD Engineers to complete CAD projects with scheduling and assigning task to a team of CAD engineers to complete within lead time.
• Review and approve CAD drawings before sending them to the Product Development department, and ensure they meet the quality and accuracy standards.
• Work closely with CAD engineer for technical & construction challenges with the whole engineering team and implementing the best solutions.
• Work closely with Creative Team and Product Development team to ensure product is manufacturable.
• Work with the department manager and sourcing team to overcome technical challenges and achieve the desired product outcomes and provide technical support and feedback.
• Work and communicate with factories for technical and construction issues/challenges when needed.
• Attending product/design review meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance.
• Set up specifics for draft drawing and converting drawing, update the spec if necessary.
• Verify product web information by collaborate with PLM Product Manager.
• Support and comply with any task assigned by the department manager or company management.
Job requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Furniture, or related disciplines;
• 5+ years’ relevant work experience in furniture manufacturing in Asia;
• Strong knowledge and understanding of furniture construction and design;
• Sharp eye for detail and aesthetic quality;
• Advanced in AUTOCAD and Inventor software skills are essential;
• Ability to lead and supervise the product engineering activities and processes;
• Skilled at developing and applying standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring quality construction;
• Fluent English required, Vietnamese and/or Chinese a plus;
• Good working knowledge of MS office software;
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
