Job Overview:
Senior HR Officer is mainly responsible for recruitment and non-academic training functions and assists HR & Admin on other projects in a professional manner for the purpose of retaining satisfaction from internal clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Recruitment
• Execute recruitment for assigned positions in compliance with headcount plan and School policies and support the team in other recruitment activities;
• Work with outsourcing company if needed for staffing requirement;
• Conduct research to map our markets and generate candidate names and target profiles;
• Build up profiles of passive and prospective candidates and develop them into active;
• Work directly with Line Manager to finalise job descriptions and provide consultancy to maximize attractions and match with recruitment budget;
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely filling of vacancies;
• Manage all existing recruitment channels and proactively seek for ways to broaden candidate pool;
• Act as the main contact between candidates and Schools and ensure Schools professionalism image during all stages of recruitment, including invitation, interview and post-interview;
• Upon request provide timely advice on compatibility between applications and academic vacancies;
• Take charge of the implementation of employer branding activities;
• Continually contribute to knowledge base of HR by providing up-to-date practices collected through stages of recruitment and propose solutions to promote employer brand identity;
• Propose competitive offers through a thorough understanding of compensation and benefits;
• Follow up related administrative tasks (payment/ refund/ etc.);
Training (non-academic)
• In charge of induction plan for academic and non-academic new comers;
• Implement annual training plan for non-academic staffs by searching for/ liaising with internal/ external providers and coordinating internally for registration, participation and post-training evaluation;
• Follow up related administrative tasks (contract, setup, payment, act);
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Expat formalities:
• Be responsible for collecting required documents and preparing applications for expat formalities (work permit, TRC, visa, etc.);
• Coordinate with related parties to manage all aspects of expatriate formalities, including visa processing, work permits, and immigration requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant government agencies and external vendors to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Assist expatriate employees with relocation logistics and support their integration into the organization.
Employee relation
• Record and respond to staffs’ enquiries in a professional and timely manner, or escalate the issue and propose proper solutions to Line Manager;
• Conduct investigations and administer progressive discipline policy and procedures as directed by Line Manager;
• Facilitate departure process of voluntary resignation, which involves exit interviews or other informal discussions;
• Consult and provide timely advices to Manager or higher level for the purpose of compliance with labour laws, school and HR policies;
• Coordinate to organize company events/activities (as assigned) which are under HR & Admin’s function.
HR Systems
• Manage HR System (if any)
And other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Qualifications:
Education:
• University degree in Human Resources, Pedagogy or equivalences
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written
Experience:
At least 3-year-experience at similar role
