Senior Executive (Sales Management and Analytics)

Job Purpose Summary

The Sales Management & Analytics role is responsible for delivering insightful data analytics and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the Retail Banking segment. The role involves preparing comprehensive performance reports, facilitating data-driven decisions through advanced tools, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of analytics outputs.

Functional (job responsibilities)

- Data Reporting and Analysis:

o Prepare and maintain accurate sales incentive and broker commission reports.

o Generate periodical sales performance reports to track and evaluate team and individual achievements.

o Develop and deliver ad-hoc data queries to address specific business needs.

o Create advanced analytics reports leveraging tools like Power BI, SQL, and Excel.

- Business Analytics and Strategy Support:

o Analyze market and internal performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

o Provide actionable insights to support the strategic planning of sales and product initiatives.

o Develop predictive models and forecasting to guide revenue and expense management decisions.

- Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Work closely with internal teams, including Finance and IT, to manage data integrity and reporting frameworks.

o Maintain strong relationships with sales channels, offering performance insights and productivity enhancement strategies.

o Communicate complex findings effectively to various stakeholders to influence decision-making.

- Risk Management and Improvement Initiatives:

o Monitor early warning signals to mitigate risks related to sales and product strategies.

o Collaborate on tactical campaigns and promotional activities to address identified performance gaps.

- Compliance and Audit:

o Prepare responses to internal and external audit queries concerning scope-related activities.

o Ensure adherence to organizational policies and data handling standards.

- Any other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager

Education/Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree/University degree, majoring in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting.

Experience

- At least 2 years’ experience in business analysis and operational workflows with excellent track record and background in business analytics with role in strategic business planning.

- Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, Power BI, and advanced Excel functions (advantage)

- Strong understanding of data management and analytics frameworks

- Strong computation skills, data querying and visualization skills.
