Senior Backend Engineer (Php/laravel)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, and other developers) to create robust and scalable applications.

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and provide feedback to junior developers.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.

• Work with databases such as MySQL, and ensure seamless integration with backend services.

• Implement APIs and web services, ensuring they meet both technical and business needs.

• Ensure the application’s security is up to industry standards, implementing solutions to protect against vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring.

• Experience: At least 5+ years of professional experience in PHP, with a strong focus on Laravel framework.

• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, OOP, SOLID principles and related technologies.

• Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js/VueJs is a plus).

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.

• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker is a plus.

• Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit.

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
