Senior Accountant - Regional Finance Cluster

The ideal candidate will be in charge of accounting and reporting tasks for our subsidiaries based in APAC (Singapore, Hongkong, Malaysia, etc.). He/She will be responsible for:

Billing and bookkeeping

• Reconciling shipment data between uplift report and CargoSpot system.

• Issuing and sending sales invoices to customers. Communication with customers and internal operation teams in case of discrepancies.

• Preparing and sending Cargo sales report to Airline’s accounting department

• Reconciling between airfreight invoice of airlines and Cargo Sale Report

• Recording in Group’s accounting system (Microsoft Business Central) all sales, purchases, overheads invoices

• Preparing payments to airlines/vendors/Group’s companies

• Control and reconcile AR/AP on a weekly basis. Checking outstanding payment and receipt vouchers for a timely and full collection

• Coordinating with Finance Managers/Regional Financial Controller in other countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, etc.) to control creditors ageing analysis/control

• Recording cut-off entries on monthly basis

Reportings

• Preparing monthly management reports according to Group's policy including full P&L (from Sales to Net income), Balance sheet, Cash reconciliation, Ageing Balances

• Participating to Group consolidation process including intercompany reconciliation and preparing Reporting package

Others

• Assisting local Finance teams in preparing Budget/Forecast

• Assisting Finance Managers in liaising with local auditors during annual statutory audit

• Other ad hoc requests

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance/Accounting – at least 4 years of experience required

• Fluent English in professional communication is a must

• Experience with Microsoft Office Package (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Detail-oriented with problem solving mindset

• Positive, flexible & team-oriented attitude
