Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor - Booking

You will be joining our Operational Care Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer Excellence

You will be leading a team completing various transport activities while liaising with our Customer Care Specialists to ensure all requirements are met (in a timely and efficient manner). As always, these activities are in line with all relevant governance + regulatory requirements.

• To create/complete shipment details in our internal transport management system (e.g. carrier/ vessel, item description et cetera).

• To monitor + report on operational performance of carriers + other vendors as well as ensuring strong data quality for timely + accurate customer reporting.

• To coordinate with customer care, haulers + carriers for the export of shipments + organize transport activities based on the customer promise.

• To obtain DG approval (where necessary).

• To create files for consolidation containers (unless performed by dedicated SaCo planners).

• To ensure costs + revenues are entered during the shipment creation, providing cost awareness + efficiency, ensuring profit maximization.

• To support + resolve claims + disputes

• Bachelor’s degree in international business or other related fields

• At least 10 years working in Sea Logistics with 05 years at similar role; Strong network and relationship with both of carriers / trucking suppliers.

• Solid experiences of sea freight / logistics market and import-export regulations; experience in Freight Forwarder is a plus.

• Good communication skills, stakeholder management (relationship build-up / complaint handling / constructive challenge and support) and ability of managing multiple tasks under time pressure with positive attitude.
