Job Description
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CodeLink, you will be the crucial first point of contact for all potential leads. You will excel in both outbound and inbound approaches to convert leads into qualified prospects. Your responsibilities include actively seeking new leads, initiating contact, and conducting discovery calls to understand their background, needs, and challenges. Your main focus will be on assessing the fit between the client's profile and our services, ensuring strong alignment before passing qualified leads to the Sales team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target ideal clients through strategic research, producing intelligence reports to support lead generation efforts.
- Run pre-event campaigns to build interest and leads, schedule meetings with leads during the event to engage with possible clients, and follow up with qualifying leads after the event to help them progress down the sales funnel.
- Build rapport with potential clients through initial discovery calls, understand their high-level needs and challenges, and assess the fit of their profiles with our services.
- Engage leads and progress them through the qualification stages, ensuring they are mature and ready for the Sales team.
- Develop, execute, and manage outreach campaigns, reporting on lead generation and qualification progress.
- Work closely with the marketing team on pre-event campaigns, targeted account approaches, email marketing, and LinkedIn campaigns.

Requirements
Must Have
- 2-5 years of experience in a sales development role.
- Proven experience in speaking with clients, presenting solutions, and managing the sales process.
- Fluent in English in all skills, with strong communication and presentation skills to build rapport with clients during initial calls.
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to target, segment, and review messages effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, target-oriented and self-starter with good initiative and persistence
- Ability to understand and navigate the full sales process.
- Familiar with Lead Generation Tools & Marketing Automation Software.
