Sales Application Engineer Manager

Subzero Engineering, a US based leader in Data Center Design and Containment is recruiting for an experienced Sales Application Engineer Manager at our HCMC / Binh Duong facilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Application Engineer Manager will lead a team of 8-12 and will work closely with Subzero Engineering and Sales Operations teams globally, to quoting and designing new projects with existing and new product offerings while assisting with all necessary requirements for each build. You will work cross functions with product managers, continuous improvement, order fulfillment and other departments internationally.

• Develop the delivery plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of the engineering team to ensure that the Solidworks design conform to established customer and company quality standards.

• Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure that company’s engineering drawings are aligned with the company direction.

• Direct the engineering team to ensure timely delivery processing, quality deliver, and accurate plans.

• Ensure and maintain proper staffing levels consistent with annual budgets.

• Establish and implement proper training programs.

• Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

• Direct and monitor department, process and employees to accomplish goals of the engineering plan, consistent with established parameters.

• Responsible for the design, execution, and project management of client projects along with members of the sales team.

• Assist the sales team with back-end duties such as technical/installation drawings, acceptable design/use review, technical/design support, and client conference with sales team members.

• Generate accurate Bill of Materials, Quotes, and Proposals for multiple projects per week.

• Collaborate with assigned members of the USA and EU based SAE teams for process improvement, sales support expectations, and project completion.

• Work to improve efficiency to reduce waste in design to improve customer outcomes and company profitability.

• Problem solve project challenges / site discrepancies quickly and cost effectively.

• Collaborates with Product Managers for successful implementation of new and existing products, including research and development, application, and product improvement.

• Travel to customer sites to validate designs, perform site measures, and support sales team as needed. < 25% travel

• Extensive knowledge of drafting and design theory and practices, a working knowledge of Parametric Modeling.

• 3-5 years experience in Solidworks/ 3D Modeling CAD, MS Office, and related business software.

• Ability to multitask, problem solve creatively and possess excellent time management skills.

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate and create a cooperative work environment between peers, the local team, and the USA and EU teams.

• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and installation/construction practices is preferred.

• Site measure experience is a plus.

• University degree
