Quality Specialist

Main purpose of the position:

Complete the inspection tasks in time accordingly to the standard process, to ensure the quality of the products shipped to Delta from suppliers.

Test and verify products according to customer requirements to verify whether it meet the design requirements.

Responsibility and Job：

Fully responsible for local source inspection.

1. Proceed source inspection on site per our standard process before shipment.

2. Manage documents of the inspection reports and report testing results to LM.

Run lab testing and equipment maintenance.

3. Run lab testing equipment and report results, such as salt spray/heat quench/thermal cycle and functional testing.

4. VN office test equipment maintenance.

Support to build supplier testing capabilities.

5. Execute testing correlation between VN office and suppliers' labs on regular basis. Understand the differences and provide the solution to close the gap.

Other supports.

6. Provide PPAP field inspection/other supports requested by manager

Key Accountability and Measurement

1. On time Source Inspection completion & inspection accuracy

a. DUS NCM caused by inspection mistake

b. on time inspection ratio

2. Testing Equipment efficient operation

a. Equipment availability for each operation (down times)

b. Testing error

The scope of authorization items (the role can make decision independently)

1. Inspection and testing result judgement

Working environmental: Supplier factory - onsite

Biz trip or frequency: Once per twice week (or depends)

Key requirements：

Education level College degree or equivalent degree

Specialty Mechanical engineering

Job experiences

1) 3+ years relevant quality management experience.

2) Prefer from plumbing industry is an added advantage.

Professional Knowledge

1) Good knowledge of QC workflow.

2) Able to understand mechanical drawings.

3) Prefer having the testing equipment operation experience

Language

1) Reading and writing English in report composing

2) Prefer mandarin in oral communication.

Hard Skills

1) Familiar with operating with mechanical measuring tools

2) Familiar with Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Personality

1) Honest, obedient, has good job integrity as the door gate keeper in quality.

2) Self-discipline. Be able to work without close supervision with strong self-management abilities.
