Quality Engineering Manager

Job Purpose

This is a full-time Quality Engineering Manager position for our company group. The applicant will be responsible for quality policy development and deployment and management of our quality engineering function. They will also have some related responsibilities in training, project management, and supply chain tasks. This role will require extensive travel. Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks/Principal Accountability

Applicants can expect to work on the following:

• Manage all quality engineering resources at our company.

• Develop and manage our quality management system, including technical audits, quality management systems audits, processes, documentation, training programs, etc.

• Manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tasks for product/process development projects

• Drive supplier Process Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (PFMEA) development to ensure long-term quality

• Manage new product launch projects to deliver project milestones on-time and on-quality

• Manage quality issues for root cause, corrective actions, and preventive actions using, among other tools, CAPA, 5W, and 8D tools.

• Develop and manage supplier performance management system making use of metrics and scorecards.

• Assist the broader Supply Chain team as needed with project management, technical, and quality advice and actions.

• This role requires up to 60% travel. Destinations may be local, regional, or global.

• Other engineering and engineering management related tasks as needed.

Applicants must have the following:

• University degree in Electronic, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field.

• 5+ years of work experience in Process Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering or Quality Engineering and other related roles

• Extensive knowledge of Quality Methods & Tools

• Experience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA), QC Tools (QC7, 8D, AQL, etc.) and QMS (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)

• Extensive knowledge of interpretation of engineering drawings, GD&T, CAD

• Native level of Vietnamese language proficiency

• Strong Professional & Technical English language (spoken & written)
