Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Department: Quality

Reports To: Quality Lead/Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This person is based at our Vietnam factory and is responsible for quality engineering from NPI to manufacturing. This role will primarily focus on production approval, quality activities, solving quality issues, and improving quality cost.

Essential functions and key responsibilities are:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plan and strategies.

● Execute test cases and report defects, ensuring that all identified issues are tracked and resolved.

● Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practice and quality standard.

● Collaborate with production engineers and production guys to identify root cause of defects and drive the resolution.

● Work with customers to handle customer issues and requirements.

● Support regulatory audit from 3rd party

● First shipment evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Experience

● Experience working with electronic, mechanical company

● At least 3 years quality engineering experience or quality assurance

● Joint company/supplier product development experience

Skills/personal qualifications

● Independently, and working with others, able to generate new ideas

● Demonstrated sense of urgency; takes prompt action to accomplish goals.

● Open minded and willing to learn new knowledge in different scopes

● English communication is a must.

● Can communicate effectively to all levels of the organization

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

● Graduated in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
