PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Quality Engineer within the QC Department is responsible for the coordination of handling Non-Conformities (NC) within DSCS and in communication with external stakeholders.
To coordinate the input and follow-up of root-cause-analysis in a multi-disciplinary team,
Communicate with the head-office and suppliers to define preventative actions and lead Internal
communication within DSCS to close the feedback loop back to our production organization.
Work with the relevant stakeholders to review products and processes in early stage to feed-back
lessons learnt into process/product set-up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACTIVITIES
• Root-Cause Analysis:Facilitate and coordinate the root-cause-analysis of complex technical issues with a multi-disciplinary and international team, in structured and controlled methodology.
• Functional: Implementing and managing the framework for the identification,categorization, analysis and follow-up of Non-Conformities in our production process.
• Improvement: Work towards clear preventative actions and product/process improvements that will facilitate the continuous improvement of our production process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Completed Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
• Good command of English language and computer skill.
* Communication/ Cooperation: A good communicator in English (as well as Vietnamese) who is able to transform complex problems into clear problem definitions.Able to communicate clearly and to the point in a technical context. Cooperating with other stake holders to achieve a common goal.
* Expertise: Have good understanding of root cause analysis methodology and experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Leadership: Able to take charge and take ownership of returning disturbances for our production process to enable continuous improvement.
* Teamwork: Lead and motivate the multi-disciplinary team and promote teamwork.
* Problem solving: Recognize the problem and take active role in solving it at the source
