QS Engineer (FDI General Contractor)
Job description
Navigos Search's client, FDI general contractor, is looking for QS engineer with main duties as below:
- Estimate costs for construction projects, including materials, equipment, and labor.
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities for contractors to price during the tender process
- Negotiate and manage contracts between clients and contractors
- Monitor costs during construction to ensure the project remains within budget
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
- Value completed work and arranged for payments.
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control during construction.
- Provide advice on a range of legal and contractual issues
* Location: Based on client' projects (in the North) you are required to visit.
Job requirements
- Graduated from university
- Able to communicate in English at work
- Experience in QS engineer of general contractor
- Able to business trip domestic
- Able to use AutoCAD, Revit is preferable
- Experience in MEP design is preferable
