KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and drive sales growth in the construction and building materials sector. This role will involve regular interaction with architects, contractors, project developers, and other stakeholders in both commercial and residential construction projects.
1. Sales & Business Development:
• Drive the sales of gypsum boards, ceiling systems, and related products to key customers within the construction industry.
• Identify and target new business opportunities in construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers to increase sales and project opportunities.
• Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, explaining the benefits and applications of gypsum boards and ceiling systems.
2. Project Management Support:
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely delivery and installation of products on construction sites.
• Provide support and product specifications to project teams during the design, estimation, and procurement phases of construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to gypsum board and ceiling installations.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, project updates, and issues related to gypsum board and ceiling systems.
• Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability for the company.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and innovations in the gypsum board and ceiling industry.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and potential opportunities for growth.
5. Reporting & Administration:
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, project statuses, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and project updates for senior management

REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Additional certification in project management or construction industry is a plus.
• Have 8-10 years of experience in sales or business development within the construction materials or building products industry, with a strong focus on gypsum boards and ceiling systems
Skills & Competences:
• Strong understanding of gypsum board and ceiling system products, applications, and installation techniques.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and sales activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Understand and able to communicate in English (Written and oral)
• Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as required.
• Knowledge of regional building codes and standards related to gypsum board and ceiling systems.
