Project Planner

Objectives of the Position:

The position is responsibitiy of Project Schedule risk control, supports for timely and

successful tender submission and oversee all project schedule risk.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering and construction project schedules including civil and

building works, mechanical, electrical and process services together with Project Team or guidance of Senior Planner.

• Detail review of sub-contractor’s schedules submittals.

• Detail review and analysis of critical activities, key areas / milestones and any

changes to project schedules.

• Maintain project schedules including updates the progress, revise forecast and evaluate any impacts.

• Communicate any risks and status of project schedules to project team. To work together with project team to develop “what if” scenarios, alternative methods and works sequencing to avoid delays or schedule recovery.

• Perform contemporaneous schedules analysis, research of claims data and

preparation of supporting documents under guidance of Senior Planner.

• Manage any changes and schedule updates in accordance with contract

requirements. Prepare project report from schedules including S-curve, integration of the resources, cost and schedule of works.

• Support in tendering and other duties as assigned.

• Support Commercial Team for Procurement Matrix preparation.

• Any other task as assigned by superior.

Education:

• Professional university degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other equivalent.

Working Experience:

• Minimum 1 year to 3 years relevant working experience in engineering and construction projects.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Proficiency in English.

• Excellent communication and people skills.

• Advanced knowledge of and proficient with Microsoft Project and Primavera.

Special Requirements:

• Must be flexible and willing to travel to provide regular on-site support.
