When you are assigned to work on a project, the Project Leader is your Superior and you will report to your Project Leader. Appraisal will also be carried out by the Project Leader on your performance.
Main activities of Project Management Department are to lead the Design, Construction Management.
Main Duties
1. Design Management:
• Work with a team of architects, engineers and others to develop all areas of project design to ensure the quality, budget, aesthetic, follow the requirement of end users.
• Support Head of Project, Head of Investment Department and overseas General Manager to prepare business proposal for submission to BOD and BOM.
• Coordinate with the consultants to prepare, review and complete any required design dossiers including but not limited to: Design brief, Planning & Master plan, Concept design, Basic design, Detailed design, Shop drawing, etc. following the regulations and standards of governing authorities.
• Communicate and work with company’s related departments and stakeholders to ensure the design meet the requirement of Management and end-users.
• Assist in reviewing and getting approvals for BOQ, materials and equipment from BOM and other stake holders.
• Participate / assist in the coordination with consultants, contractors / suppliers and related manager (site manager) to propose solution to incurred matters on site related to design.
• Assist in necessary administrative procedures for permits and certificates, mainly including: Infrastructure connection approval, Fire-fighting approval, Environment protection approval, Planning 1/500, Basic design approval, Detail design approval, Construction permit, Building Completion Certificate.
2. Construction management: within the authorized responsibility and under the supervision of Project Director
• Work on behalf of Project owner on site and protect owner’s benefit in all circumstances.
• Work with contractors / suppliers for site management / supervision ensuring that the project in charge is running in accordance with the approved design / specification, within the approved project schedule / plan and strictly follow all applicable laws and regulations.
• Arrange site meetings, construction updates, project reports promptly and timely to direct supervisors.
• Conduct site inspections regularly and under contractor’s proposals and issue approvals on behalf of the owner.
• Verify all variation orders / requests before submitting to direct supervisors for approvals.
• Carry out defect inspections and attend promptly and efficiently to any problems that might occur during construction, installation, and completion process of the project.
• Assist in meetings with all relevant local government under request.
Other Duties
• Assist in other duties / responsibilities assigned by Immediate Supervisor and / or Management from time to time.
• You are expected to travel when required.
Yêu cầu công việc
• 5+ years experience as Chief Engineer or Project Manager
• Possesses relevant Certificates & Software
• Good English command & communication skills
