Production Manager (Footwear Weaving)

Role Purpose:

Ensure that all project management related aspects to Proweave and specific account services flows efficiently from development to production departments.

The project manager is responsible for keeping everyone on task and projects on deadline, managing ProWeave production, handling the logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress.

The end goal is to ensure the project goes smoothly and both the client who requested the project and the cross functional members of the project team, who did the work, are satisfied with the result.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

• Create: Responsible for creating detailed schedules and setting deadlines for various stages of a project. Start to finish. Be the daily expect on status. Maintain weekly pipeline schedule tracker via MS Teams.

• Drive the Process: Distribute and assign project deliverables during different stages to development and production teams and other departments. Ensure that the production team follows the deadlines as planned in the schedules.

• Communicate: Meet with project team members to learn more about new project requests, embed in stage gate process planning, and give progress updates on new and existing projects, communicating any issues.

• Monitor: projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly.

• Collaborate: with project team, external resources, and vendors to ensure they have the resources needed for their jobs and timely delivery of the assigned tasks.

• Safety & Compliance: fully comply with Coats policies, practices, DoA and regulations.

• Fluent in Vietnamese and English

• Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential to make sure everything runs smoothly.

• Ability to be as organized as possible to schedule, monitor and adjust deadlines and resources as needed.

• Good at time-management, an eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with Excel and project management software is important.

• Experience in the textile industry, specifically in woven or knitted textiles is a high want.
