Department: Production
Reports To: Production Manager – Tran Van Tuan
FLSA Status: Exempt or Nonexempt (completed by HR)
Essential functions and key responsibilities are:
● Manage and monitor team follow the targeted KPIs: Budget, Safety, Cost, Productivity, Quality…
● Follow the instructions of the Department Manager.
● Manage and coordinate personnel in the department.
● Based on the production situation, develop a personnel plan for the department to ensure that the lines have enough manpower to operate and meet the production plan.
● Coordinating with the human resources department in input recruitment.
● Directing job training for employees.
● Managing the operations of the production department.
● Directly deploy the production plan to the department manager,
● Process control using materials from parts.
● Receive production reports, synthesize and promptly detect and handle arising problems
● Set goals for the department and direct members to implement to achieve the goal
● Ensure production is on schedule in terms of both output and product quality.
● Build working process. Implement continuous improvement to improve quality, output and reduce product cost.
● Participate in new product line development – lean manufacturing activities.
● Collaborating with technical department to Assemble and Evaluate new product lines, Sample Components.
Job requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience-
● Minimum 3 years of management experience in the same field and in a multinational manufacturing environment preferred
Skills/personal qualifications -
● Ability to manage and direct all activities of the department
● Specialized in mechanical engineering and good problem analysis.
● Quick and efficient problem solving
● Ability to work independently and in a good team.
● Ability to motivate groups to high efficiency
● A person who knows how to create a working environment in which members want to work to the best of their ability.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
● BA/BS in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent

● Must be able to communicate effectively with employees through multiple forms of technology with telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information.
● The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
● Ability to travel to all areas in the facility which may require climbing, ascending and descending stairs, and traveling long distances, as required. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Ability to respond to audible and visual alarms.
● Able to move and tear down machines with weight up to 27 Kg
