Production Cell Leader

Job Title: Production Cell Leader

Department: Production

Reports To: Production Manager

The products are sold across a network of sewing machine dealers, mass retailers (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Lidl, MediaMarkt, Carrefour), specialty retailers (e.g., Joann, Michaels), online retailers (e.g., Amazon, Tmall), distributors, and through the company’s 180 internally operated retail stores.

Essential functions and key responsibilities are:

● Manage and monitor teams follow the targeted KPIs: Budget, cost, productivity, quality…

● Follow the instructions of the Department Manager.

● Manage and coordinate personnel in the department.

● Based on the production situation, develop a personnel plan for the department to ensure that the Production have enough manpower to operate and meet the production plan.

● Coordinating with the human resources department in input recruitment.

● Directing job training for employees.

● Managing the and controlling all production activities in order to achieve the required level of cost, quality and production plan.

● Directly deploy the production plan to the department manager,

● Process control using materials from parts.

● Receive production reports, synthesize and promptly detect and handle arising problems

● Set goals for the department and direct members to implement to achieve the goal

● Ensure production is on schedule in terms of both output and product quality.

● Build a working process. Implement continuous improvement to improve quality, output and reduce product cost

● Coordinate with the Tech department to ensure adherence to Environment, Health and Safety standards.

● Make master data for changeover Jig, mold & machine.

● Collaborating with the technical department to solve the issue of CNC, Injection molding Plastic.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Experience-

● Minimum 3 years of management experience in the same field and in a multinational manufacturing environment preferred.

● Experience in CNC process and Injection molding machines is preferred.

Skills/personal qualifications -

● Ability to manage and direct all activities of the department

● Specialized in mechanical engineering and good problem analysis.

● Quick and efficient problem solving

● Ability to work independently and in a good team.

● Ability to motivate groups to high efficiency

● A person who knows how to create a working environment in which members want to work to the best of their ability.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

● BA/BS in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent
