Product Engineer

Molex is looking for a contribution motivated talent for Engineering Department who are willing to learn and work well with the team

OUR TEAM

You will support PJM for product transfer as key member, responsible for tracking all stages

of the product within the scope of responsibility, from materials to shipment,

providing technical support for the production line, ensuring product quality, and

ensuring product shipment. Provide sustainable improvement and development

plans for the product and implement them specifically.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receive overseas training and implement product & process transfer locally.

2. Create and review related product WOI and WR.

3. Resolve technical issues during the production process, control product scrap rate and rework rate.

4. Analyze data on technical indicators, yield rate, pass rate, scrap rate, etc., propose targeted

continuous improvement plans, and implement them.

5. Assist the technical supervisor in solving various batch, major, and critical technical issues and carry

out continuous improvement in production process.

6. Assist the FA department in completing the analysis of RMA products.

7. Provide technical support for (sourcing/PMC/S&M/QA/PLM).

8. Provide product technical training to production line employees, help employees improve their

understanding of the product and improve their quality awareness.

9. Perform other related work tasks assigned by management.

1. Education background: college/university with technical related majors (Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Mechanical/Optical/Physic/Eelectrical Engineering)

2. Working experience:

+ Preferred candidate with at least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering or process positions

+ Preferred candidates with experience of the electronics or optical communication industry

3. Skill and abilities

• Chinese communication.

• Good at mail in the form of written communication, familiar with PPT, Word, Excel and

other office software.

• Good communication and expression skills, clear logical thinking, and a positive attitude. Familiar with the manufacturing process.

• Willing to accept long-term overseas business trips (6 months to 1 year in )

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes

• Familiar with QA analysis tools

• Priority given to those with 6 sigma analysis and lean production capabilities.
