Product Development Specialist (Airconditioning) (Temporary)

The Market Research & Product Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting market surveys, collaborating with various internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Marketing, etc.), and providing valuable inputs regarding the design, features, concepts, and functions of new products. This role will focus on ensuring that products are tailored to meet the specific demands of the local market, particularly in Vietnam. The specialist will also be tasked with analyzing market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to propose new features and enhance product offerings.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct market survey, work closely with Sales, Engineer, MKT, dealers...to provide inputs/confirmation on new product's design, features, concepts, functions... based on standard issued by HQ/factory

• Raise and propose new features which are suitable with local market

• Conduct pre-survey for some new products to be launched in Vietnam (based on understanding about market, Gfk report...)

• Make data analysis report for specific AC models or as per request

• Build system to get frequent feedback from market (AC technician, dealers...) based on HOD's advice/instruction

• Other admin tasks: proceed import procedure for new model, expense claim with factory, buy competitor's products, contract, quotation, create model/vendor on System

• Not only Room AC but also Commercial AC in the near future

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in market research, product development, or related fields, preferably within the Airconditioning or Consumer Electronics industry.

• Good English

• Experience in conducting market surveys, customer feedback analysis, and data reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
