Product Development Expert

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Vision:

o Monitor and execute the product strategy for BNPL services, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands.

o Conduct comprehensive market research or mystery buyer to identify customer needs, emerging market trends, and analyze competitive dynamics to inform product strategy.

• Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

o Execute product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring continuous improvement based on user feedback and performance metrics.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Risk, Sales, Marketing and Legal, to develop and launch new BNPL products and features, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with market demands.

o Perform rigorous functionality and system testing, monitor test reports, and ensure product features meet quality standards before launch.

o Manage & monitor internal product parameters, product policy, sales process, product documents at Product department.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters, providing clear communication and managing expectations with internal and external stakeholders.

• Performance Analysis and Optimization:

o Monitor and analyze product performance, providing data-driven reports to enhance business decisions and optimize user experience.

o Implement strategies to enhance product adoption, user engagement, and overall satisfaction.

• Compliance and Risk Management:

o Ensure all BNPL products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to safeguard the company's interests.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product development/management experience, focusing on consumer finance, personal loans, or fintech. Strong financial background, working experience in Big 4 or Buy Now Pay Later industry is a significant advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Fluency in English. Candidates with additional proficiency in Korean or Japanese will have a significant advantage.

• Familiar with systems & software such as LMS, LOS, PMS, Jira or Figma is considered an advantage.
