Process Engineering Leader
Job description
Lead and guide APQP + ME teams to achieve:
• Production Capex budget calculation and implementation.
• New/transfer projects launching following APQP procedure.
• Continuous Improvement (CI), Value Added Value Engineering (VAVE) to new and current running projects.
• Standards of work or rework defined and implementation.
• Problems solving in daily production.
• Perform engineering changes.
• Take part in corrective actions arising from customer complaints and/or quality audits.
• Documentation for audits of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Partacipate in verifying new suppliers included material suppliers, outsourcing suppliers.
• New products, processes training to releated staffs.
Lead and guide Local Process owners to achieve:
• Budget submit, implement and release for investments related to owned processes
• Ensure the global process standardization to be applied in Plant: Equipment, work instruction, machine setting and operating
• Sharing related-processes best practise from Plant to Global
• Be involve in developing and maintaining the global PFMEA (SCIO, PLATO)
• Drive and ensure the implementation of the latest CI/VAVE opportunities related to owned processes
• Budget submit, implement and release investments related to the owned processes
• Be involved in processes development and launch new/transfer projects according to Gentherm APQP procedures
• Processes training regarding owned processes for Staffs and related people
Job requirements
Experience:
• 7 Year of working experiences in manufacturing
• 3 years experiences in manufacturing at the same position
Education: University Degree (equivalent or above) in technical field
Competency:
• Personality: Good communicator, Assertive, Drive, Fair, Patient, responsible
• Must adopt a practically, methodically approach towards work
• High level of problem solving and analytical skills – able to analyze data and information from different areas of the business and come up with a summarized conclusion and argument.
• Time Management – able to prioritize tasks and allocate time appropriately.
• Presentation Skills – able to deliver public speaches to top management with confidence and clarity
• Team work skills – able work in a team and in harmony with all team members but at the same time confident of own skills and opinions.
• Emergency handling ability
• Knowledge in LEAN, Six-Sigma
• Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources)
• High level of spoken and written English
• Excellent computer skills, presentation (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Knowledge and experienced in 5 cores tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC
• Experienced in management systems: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
