Process Engineer

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

• Ownership of processes knowledge in Plant scope and be Plant’s representative processes to Global

• Be bridge between Global and local Plant in implementing Global project standard related to digitalization solutions

• Continuous Improvement for new and existing processes, projects from start of production to products end of life

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Budget submit, implement and release for investments related to owned processes

• Ensure the global process standardization to be applied in Plant: Equipment, work instruction, machine setting and operating

• Sharing related-processes, new project best practice from Plant to Global

• Be involve in developing and maintaining the global PFMEA (SCIO, PLATO)

• Drive and ensure the implementation of the latest CI/VAVE opportunities related to owned processes

• Be involved in processes development and launch new/transfer projects according to Gentherm APQP procedures

• Processes training regarding owned processes for Staffs and related people

REQUIREMENT

Education:

• University Degree (or equivalent) in technical field

Experience:

• 3 Year of working experiences in manufacturing

Competencies:

• Proficient in using office tools: Outlook, MS offices (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Proficient in using CAD 2D skills, be able to read understand and create technical drawings for processes, perform DOE to define processes standard parameter

• High level of problems solving and analytical skills – able to analyses data and information from different areas of the business and come up with a summarized conclusion and argument

• Proficient in using programing language C, C#, Labview, VBA, Power BI.

• Teamwork skills – able work in a team and in harmony with all team members and at the same time confident of own skills and opinions

• Emergency handling ability

• Be able to communicate in English in manufacturing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced in working with teams globally

• Experienced in processes design and development, in automotive is plus

• Proficient in lean tools to apply in manufacturing

• Proficient in English (listening, speaking, writing),

• Knowledge and experienced in 5 cores tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC

• Experienced in management systems: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
