Job Title: Plant Manager

Location:

- Ho Chi Minh City office during initial location set-up

- Binh Duong - Branch Location (On-site work arrangement once open)

POSITION SUMMARY (Objective/Purpose of Position):

1. Drive safety and sustainability culture into the DNA of the branch.

2. Ensure the branch operations efficiently convert and deliver quality products on-time to our customers.

3. Develop annual operating plan and hold team accountable for Branch level EBIT & FCF maximization.

4. Attract, develop, and retain a strong team of operational team members.

5. Solve problems creatively to drive positive change.

6. Drive people first and continuous improvement mindset into the culture of the branch.

Business Processes that role has responsibility for/in: CRITICAL ROLE:

• Responsible for plant production goals

• Responsible for the product quality control for the plant schedules.

• Maintain a clean and safe plant

• Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.

• Responsible for continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Major Actions and Support Actions

• Drive People First culture and work environment into the DNA of your team.

• Drive safety and sustainability culture. In charge of the management work of company’s safety, environment, occupational health, and fire safety, ensuring that the company is operating in compliance with relevant business regulations and EHS regulations by government/Corporate LP.

• Full P&L responsibility: Drive P&L accountability to achieve EBIT and FCF targets. Review income statement, analyze variances, and initiate plans to address problem areas.

• Play an active role in branch level talent development - leadership recruitment to bring in top talent with future leadership potential, team member development, coaching and feedback.

• Manage effectiveness of the operations, to include staffing levels, production scheduling, minimizing scrap, improving quality, and ensuring on-time delivery.

• Lead and cooperate in formulating the company's medium and long-term development plans and annual business plans; organize their implementation to ensure the achievement of business goals.

• Build a strong bench of team members to drive future BU growth.

• Develop and strengthen standards of the organization to ensure high-quality services.

• Coordinate work between purchasing and production by developing policies and regulations. Follow all company administrative policies and procedures as required.

• Ensure compliance with applicable governmental/corporate regulations related to all facets of business activity.

• Solve problems creatively to drive positive change. Drive continuous improvement mindset throughout branch operations team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Educational requirements, Certifications:

• University Degree in trade, finance, engineering technology, production or related majors

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written in Vietnamese and fluency in English

Experience:

• 10 years’+ management experience in production-oriented enterprises

• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing and/or warehousing management experience, including P&L responsibility

• In-depth knowledge in furniture manufacturing know-how would be a plus

• Experience with lean manufacturing principals, methodologies a plus

• Experience setting up a branch, function, department from the ground up would be a plus

• Background in continuous improvement a plus

• Good at teamwork, with affinity, excellent communication skills
