Performance & Stability Engineer (Software) - Salary Up To 2500$ - Hybrid Working - Relocation Bonus

We, LG Electronics Development Vietnam (LGEDV), conduct core R&D activities, and various product reliability tests in support of our vehicle component business.

As Performance & Stability Engineer of LGEDV Da Nang/Hanoi Office, you will:

• Define Key Performance Indicators and statistics to monitor the performances of projects in term of performance & stability specification/requirement document, , i.e. booting time, memory usage, .etc.

• Be responsible for leading the performance improvement to achieve customer requirements.

• To handle performance and stability issues by providing root cause analysis, propose technical alternatives for resolving project issues, and collaborate with related SW engineers for implementation.

• Act as a single point of contact for the project, discuss and review, any technical performance/stability requirement or topic related to the delivery of products to customers.

• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, with the required quality standards within agreed performance & stability specifications

General requirements:

Competencies:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• High responsibility and good team-work

• An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude

Qualifications:

• B.S in Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computing Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related major

• Familiar with configuration management tool (like Git, Gerrit)

• Advanced programming skill (C++ or Java)

• Basic scripting skill (Shell, Python)

• Having solid background of multi-threading, multi-processing

• Having knowledge of Linux system, such as system boot, file system, CPU scheduling, and memory management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Having hands-on experience working with profiling tools such as Systrace, Perfetto, etc.

• Having hands-on experience working with the Android system

• Having development experiences of the board support package (BSP) layer (firmware, device drivers)

• Over 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux embedded system

• Has experience in performance & stability in any platforms/projects
