Part-Time English Teacher (Expat Only)

Scotch AGS is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time teachers to join our team for semester II. The ideal candidates will be passionate about education, capable of delivering engaging and effective instruction, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Successful performance during semester II may lead to an opportunity for a full-time teaching position at Scotch AGS.

Key Responsibility Areas

● Deliver qualified lessons based on a provided Australian curriculum.

● Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective teaching and learning.

● Provide timely and constructive feedback on students' work/assignments.

● Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Adhere strictly to the Faculty's procedures, ensure all deadlines are met, and maintain consistent, professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

● Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key selection criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

● Bachelor of Education degree (or equivalent).

● Valid teaching certification.

● Eligibility to work in Vietnam.

● Fluent English Speaker - language proficiency of IELTS 7.5 or equivalent.

● Proficiency in use of technology for teaching, learning and assessment.

● Applicants must satisfy relevant pre-employment screening and agree to adhere to the School Child Protection Policy.

Working Hours:

● Part-time hours (tentatively 5-10 hours per week), typically Monday through Friday.

● Specific hours will be determined based on scheduling needs.

Compensation:

● Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.

Opportunity for Full-Time Position:

Exceptional performance during semester II may result in an opportunity to join Scotch AGS as a full-time teacher for the upcoming academic year.
