Nutrition Product Development Specialist

- Develop premix formulas and support quotations based on customers’ requirements or

Brenntag-created concepts in all areas.

- Understanding clinical studies, research and functional nutrient ingredients to explain the

nutrient value proposition of Brenntag solution to internal and external customers.

- Present Brenntag solution to customers, commercial and application team for technical

recommendation on premix formulation and right ingredients.

- Ensure ingredient compliance to customer and regulatory specifications.

- Research, evaluate and approve various manufacturing processes, raw materials, and

blends for their use in manufactured products as needed.

- Manage complex application projects, provide technical recommendation internally and

externally, and follow thru with technically sound resolution.

- Support production by working closely with commercialization team on blend instructions

and approving ingredients and blend formulation.

- Participate in innovation & application team to develop food & beverage concepts and prototypes.

- Work closely with Application team, QA/QC, commercial team and Marketing team

- Project/Technical system management

- Bachelor Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Chemistry/ will have an

advantage while those with relevant technical experience will also be considered such as

providing the solution for patient in hospital…

- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in nutrient formulation development in food

industry.

- Good command of spoken English with solid writing skills to write reports, training &

procedures materials.

- Effective communication skills to clearly present technical & product information to both

internal & external stake holders.

- Ability to travel as required to achieve business objective.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, good team player in a multi cultural environment.

- Excellent understanding of clinical studies, formulation development and manufacturing

- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skill
