RCE is a Korean startup that is rapidly growing in Vietnam. Our team consists of heavy equipment industry experts, global business experts, and startup operation experts. We founded RCE with the goal of innovating a fragmented global transaction process for used heavy equipment. RCE has grown its company in the early stages of entrepreneurship through bootstrapping without external investment. Despite the construction industry in Vietnam being completely stagnant due to the COVID-19 pandemic, RCE has grown every year! We achieved sales of $5M in 2021 and $10M in 2022, our goal for 2023 is to reach sales of $20M NothingCanStopUs Last year, we received our first Series A investment of $5M to accelerate growth. We were also selected as a mid-sized unicorn by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Our customers are mostly construction subcontractors in Vietnam. Some operate batching plants and transport cement to construction sites, while others purchase excavators to participate in new road construction projects. In Vietnam, more than 100,000 businesses purchase heavy equipment for various reasons, and the number of imports for heavy equipment alone exceeds $3B a year. It is a huge market! Our customers need to purchase heavy equipment, hire operators to operate it, and manage it well to conduct their business. However, all of these processes are currently being carried out in an outdated manner. That's why we are solving the distribution problem of the heavy equipment market, which has been around for over 50 years, in the most customer-friendly way possible. As of March 2023, over 12,000 customers out of 100,000 construction subcontractors are registered in our database, and we have monthly phone conversations with over 2,000 customers and meet over 200 customers in person to better understand their sites and have conversations. We record all of this information in our proprietary CRM system. As a fifth-year player in the Vietnam market, we have gained a very high level of understanding of the market through this process. That is the reason why we are hiring new members to join this journey. There is so much to do!!
