Job description
• Responsible for procuring materials, tools, electronic components, and services essential for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities, focusing on the automation production line.
• Manage purchasing tasks in the assigned scope by following the Purchasing procedure and Company policy to achieve the objectives of the Department and Company.
• Source, select, and approve suppliers for designated indirect categories in close cooperation with relevant user departments (including supplier audits when relevant).
• Responsible for procuring materials, tools, electronic components, and services essential for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities, focusing on the automation production line.
• Support user departments (Maintenance, Production, Projects, and other functions) in ensuring optimal indirect specifications are in place.
• Ensure the best possible agreements for designated Indirect categories, according to the purchasing objectives, by following the Purchasing Process and utilizing relevant contract formats (including frame agreements, etc.).
• Place and follow up orders in the system based on agreements/contracts when relevant.
• Execute invoice control according to company guidelines.
• Report on agreed KPIs including supplier performance to the Purchasing Manager.
• Other tasks such as supporting indirect purchasing for Sales and Marketing teams are required to ensure the best service providers align with sales marketing strategies.
Job requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in indirect purchasing for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and Projects, preferably within a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience in indirect purchasing related to Communication, Digital Media, and Events will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and under high pressure.
• Honesty, integrity, and process discipline.
• Structured thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation, effective communication, and influencing skills.
• Collaboration and teamwork across organizations.
• Fluent in English and good computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP/ ERP). *** We offer:
