Merchandiser (Backpack & Bag Industry)
Job description
1. Order Management:
• Receive and process orders from customers, ensuring complete and accurate information.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping departments to monitor production progress and delivery.
Ensure timely delivery and meet the quality requirements of customers.
• Provide order status updates to customers and relevant departments.
2. Product Planning & Implementation:
• Collaborate with the design team to develop new product samples that meet the customer requirements.
• Ensure backpacks and bags are produced on schedule and meet quality standards.
3. Production Process Monitoring:
• Monitor and oversee the production process from order receipt to delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Ensure that materials and accessories (fabric, zippers, buckles, etc.) are supplied in full and meet the required specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to materials and production.
4. Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the products.
• Resolve issues that arise during the order fulfillment process, including quality issues, delayed deliveries, or changes in requirements.
5. Analysis & Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze sales trends and product performance, proposing improvements to sales strategies and product development.
• Prepare regular reports on order status, production progress, inventory, and any issues requiring attention.
6. Manage Relationships with Clients & Partners:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
Job requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Merchandiser or Order Manager, preferably in the backpack, bag, or fashion industry.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and order management.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure.
