Merchandise Leader
Job description
1. Customer Interaction and Order Management:
- Work with customers to gather information for style development and orders, ensuring all necessary information is obtained in a timely manner.
- Transfer information about sample production to the Pattern-Sampling department and confirm delivery dates with customers.
- Collaborate with the Planning/Production department to establish order delivery dates.
Provide information to the Purchase department for sourcing new goods.
2. Data Management and Pricing:
- Enter product data into the computer system and calculate prices, obtaining price approval.
- Negotiate prices, order quantities, production terms, and other contract details with customers.
- Enter orders into the company system for goods purchase.
3. Inventory and Customer Follow-Up:
- Regularly inform customers about leftover goods in LTP stock, ensuring customers fulfill their obligations to use all leftovers.
- Ensure customers use all necessary goods even without a production order if required.
4. Customer Relations and Innovation:
- Constantly inform and meet with customers to suggest new ideas and secure additional orders.
- Working/ meeting with related departments & customer to settle all issue of orders.
- Arrange customer visits and vice versa.
5. Make reports
- Monthy update sales, budget, forecast, KPI, style development.
- Collect order status & join monthly global meeting with HQ & other factories in group.
- Making sales & other reports as per requested from top managment.
6. Team Management and Coordination:
- Lead and manage the merchandise team, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
7. Other Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by group management.
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Independently work and proper communication with customers in face to face meeting and online meeting
2. For the correct costing and Gross Profit 1.
3. Working according to the demands of the company management system and LTP culture value.
4. Keeping to LTP working rules and securing the company’s confidential information.
Job requirements
NECESSARY QUALIFICATION:
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Textile industry.
- Fluent English – speaking, listening and writing
- Ability to work with MS Office, ERP programs.
- Knowledge of the sewing production technologies.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising – FOB garment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Skills:
- High sense of responsibility - Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and lead a team effectively.
- Honest, getting along well with all departments
