Mechanical Engineer – Urgent (Job Vacancies: 05)

We Are Hiring: MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Description:

- Review and interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

- Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).

- Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and prevent delays.

- Coordinate with the Client and local authorities for approvals related to mechanical design modifications and compliance with safety standard

- Prepare and review technical documents, including shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and as-built drawings.

- Monitor and ensure quality control of mechanical installations, conduct inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and standards.

- Oversee subcontractors to ensure adherence to the project schedule, safety guidelines, and performance standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to mechanical systems during all project stages.

- Prepare regular progress reports and update the project manager on key milestones and challenges.

- Support other tasks assigned by the project manager or mechanical engineering lead.

Job Requirement

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.

- Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and BMS integration.

- Familiarity with construction contracts, change order processes, and local regulations/standards for mechanical works.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit

- Strong knowledge of MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

- Ability to communicate fluently in English

- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Self-motivated, performance-driven, and able to work independently or within a team.

- Experience working on supermarket or large-scale retail projects is an advantage.
