[Logistics] Senior Operation Strategist

Position Overview: In this strategic role, you will orchestrate end-to-end logistics operations, focusing on multimodal transportation solutions including sea, air, truck, customs clearance, and express shipping. While operating without direct reports, you will serve as a subject matter expert and cross-functional collaborator to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies across sea, air, truck, customs, and express shipping services, ensuring optimal routing and cost-effectiveness

2. Drive compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards while maintaining accurate documentation

3. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize transit times

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and other strategic partners to ensure service excellence

5. Provide expert consultation to internal stakeholders and customers on complex shipping requirements and solutions

6. Generate and analyze key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for operational enhancement

7. Contribute to the development of best practices, standard operating procedures, and training materials

8. Manage crisis situations and implement contingency plans to minimize supply chain disruptions

9. Leverage industry knowledge to recommend innovative solutions and maintain competitive advantage

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in international freight forwarding operations

• Demonstrated expertise in multimodal transportation management and customs procedures

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making

• Advanced proficiency in freight forwarding software and transportation management systems

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to work independently while fostering strong team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCMP, FIATA Diploma)

• Experience with route optimization and transportation network design

• Working knowledge of Incoterms and international trade documentation

• Proficiency in multiple languages (English required; Korean highly valued)

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean)

• Track record of implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency
