[Logistics] Pricing Lead - Air/sea/trucking

1. Rate Sourcing

o Act as a liaison between Sales in Vietnam and international branches to clarify rate requests and assess current sources.

o Conduct competitive rate analysis to ensure pricing alignment with market trends.

o Collaborate closely with Sales to gather customer feedback, refine rate options, and finalize pricing strategies.

2. LSP Evaluation & Management

o Build and maintain strong relationships with key logistics vendors, including shipping lines, co-loaders, freight forwarders, and trucking providers within Vietnam and internationally.

o Manage vendor performance and ensure alignment with company standards and operational efficiency.

3. FAK Contract Negotiation

o Lead direct negotiations with carriers to establish FAK contracts, prioritizing optimal rates and performance for the company.

o Ensure contracts are structured to meet company goals and customer needs, optimizing pricing competitiveness.

4. RFQ Support for Tenders

o Provide comprehensive Request for Quotation (RFQ) support to the headquarters and branch offices for regional and global tenders.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tender submissions are competitive and align with customer requirements.

5. Market Analysis & Reporting

o Conduct regular market research to monitor industry trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

o Provide detailed analysis and reporting as needed, contributing valuable insights for decision-making.

6. Continuous Improvement in Pricing

o Develop and implement initiatives to improve the pricing function, adapting to ad-hoc challenges and dynamic market conditions.

o Ensure the team remains agile and responsive to external changes, optimizing internal processes for efficiency.

7. Team Leadership

o Build and lead a high-performance pricing team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

o Mentor and guide team members to achieve professional growth and align with company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics, or related field.

• Experience:

o Minimum of 7 years of experience with a shipping, airline, or global 3PL company, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.

o Strong background in global logistics/forwarding markets, with proven expertise in TP FAK setup and management.

o In-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management (WM) and Load Delivery (LD) functions in addition to Freight Forwarding.

• Skills:

o Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

o Strong team management abilities and effective communication skills.

o Experience in logistics operations (preferably 3+ years) and contract negotiation.

o Proficient presentation skills and a strong sense of responsibility and perseverance.
