Logistics Manager (Philippines, textile and apparel logistics)

As the Logistics Manager, you will oversee regional logistics operations, managing a team of professionals to ensure the efficient shipment of garments and textile products from Asia to North America and other global destinations. This role is crucial in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong partnerships with service providers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of logistics specialists.

• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across Asia, including China, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

• Coordinate and manage shipments to North America and other international markets.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of freight forwarders, service providers, and vendors.

• Implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with international shipping and import/export regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.

• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

• Utilize MS D365 and other tools to effectively manage logistics operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

• 10+ years of experience in logistics, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

• Strong expertise in textile and apparel logistics.

• Proven experience in managing operations under diverse business models; experience with trading companies is a plus.

• Established network with freight forwarders.

• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and ability to perform under pressure and flexible hours.

• Experience working across regions and countries in a collaborative team environment.
