Legal Expert (Heavy Industry | Energy | Oil & Gas)

• Provide strategic legal guidance on financing, EPC contracts, arbitration, offtake agreements, and international procurement, etc

• Advise on Vietnamese laws and regulatory requirements for business operations, ensuring compliance with legal obligations.

• Lead high-value business transactions, procurement contracts, and various operational agreements, managing compliance

• Serve as a liaison between the company and relevant government agencies.

• Manage and coordinate external legal advisors on matters of financing, disputes, and construction.

• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Legal Director.

• Law degree; Legal practice qualification in Vietnam

• Min 10 years of experience in private practice or in-house legal roles

• Prior experience with an international law firm or multinational company preferred

• Background in heavy industries such as energy, mining or oil and gas or construction is advantageous

• Experience interacting with government entities or state agencies

• Extensive knowledge of Vietnamese legal frameworks, particularly in heavy industries such as energy, mining or oil and gas or construction

• Familiarity with arbitration, project management, project financing, and EPC contracts is an asset

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in high-pressure settings

• Exceptional negotiation and organizational skills

• Proficiency in English
