Laboratory Supervisor

1. Receive direction and cooperate and report to Technical manager to manage to ensure Laboratory operates well according to required standards.

2. Understand and grasp all requirements for experimental methods and machinery used for experimental processes. At the same time, understand the operations of machinery and equipment.

3. Training staff in the unit on equipment operation and experimental methods according to Satra, ASTM, ISO standards.

4. Fully understand the update of testing method and standard as well as discuss with Technical manager on that to feedback accordingly.

5. Coordinate work with other relevant Supervisors to smoothly deploy work and complete it according to the targets set by superiors.

6. Daily check and evaluate the results after the experiment and report to superiors.

7. Quality check of Machinery working condition and take action for maintenance if required.

8. Check and supervise to ensure that all employees in the area under his management always comply with regulations on wearing full protective gear and safety when operating machinery.

9. Look for opportunities to develop the staff under his management to achieve the goals and improvements define by the Company.

10. Strictly follow the company’s regulations, policies and procedures, including integrity and code of conduct in operating the business.

11. Follow local laws in Occupational Safety and Health and related regulations.

Years of Related Work Experience: Have at least 3 years of experience in laboratory management in the tannery.

Knowledge Requirements:

- Have knowledge of all requirements for experimental testing methods and machinery used for experimental processes.

- Have knowledge chemical.

- Have experience working as teamwork and training subordinates.

- Experienced in staff management

- Know in detail the documents, verifying and ensuring their application.

- Have a progressive spirit and a willingness to learn.

Other Qualifications, Certifications Needs:

Management experience of (shift working pattern) knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, 5S.

Languages Skill

- English: Average

- Vietnamese: Fluent

- Spanish: pleasurable
