Lab Manager (Footwear)

• Make sure the management and staff of the lab are not subjected to any

excessive internal or external pressures or factors that could negatively

impact the caliber and assessment of their test and lab operation reports.

• Keep an eye on the lab's operations and make sure everything is functioning

properly, including the safety procedures, room temperature, technician

operations and practices, SOP, 6S, etc.

• Examine how many new development materials are needed for each season,

assess the lab's test capacity, and make appropriate plans for expansion to

accommodate test requests.

• In order to ensure lab test quality and management as necessary, upgrade

the lab's layout, test equipment, and staff.

• Motivate, guide, and coach the group to meet the daily testing objectives.

• To balance the workload and create adaptable technicians, schedule cross-

training for all team members and periodically schedule task rotations among

the testing sub-teams.

• Maintain a reasonable inventory of consumables and keep records to ensure

the efficient and successful operation of daily lab testing.

• Analyze failed test data to make improvements.

• Create and compile the reports and analyze the performance of the suppliers

and tested materials every month.

• Optimize the company's test procedure by studying and researching the

latest industry test technologies as well as international new test protocols

for testing new materials. For more accurate test results and efficient test

result completion, continuously enhance lab test operations and talents.

• Bachelor of Chemical/Textile or related.

• Minimum 5 years in technical work experience of footwear laboratory testing and 3 years in managerial position, experience of FW product development or manufacturing as a plus factor.

• Good at Excel, Word, PPT (Microsoft office).

• Good at Data statistic and analysis, evaluation of Lab results and doing.

• Good communication skills, English proficiency verbal and in writing.
