Junior Technical Designer (Lingerie, US Market)

We are seeking a talented and innovative Junior Technical Designer specializing in bras to join our team. Tech Pack Designer will be responsible for creating detailed tech packs for bra products, ensure designs align with initial concepts, and collaborate with development and production teams to bring designs to life. They will manage multiple projects, review samples, and drive innovation by incorporating new materials and techniques while improving design processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Apparel Design Tech Pack Creation (Bra Product Focused)

- Create high-quality tech packs for bras and other apparel, making sure they have accurate details for fabrics, trims, and construction methods. Ensure the tech packs match the original design idea and are clear and detailed to meet technical needs.

- Use a good understanding of garment construction and fitting, including fabric and trim properties, to make sure the product is made correctly based on the tech pack and design.

- Work with the development team, including sourcing specialists and technical designers, to deliver designs on time and as planned, from start to finish.

- Keep up with new materials, technologies, and trends in the industry to improve lingerie designs.

Collaboration & Communication

- Manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

- Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize innovative bra designs, review product’s 3D & physical sample, and ensure design feasibility.

- Work with the production team to translate tech pack into physical products and provide insights during sampling.



Innovation & Improvement

- Implement new design techniques, technologies, and materials to enhance innovation.

- Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate best practices to maintain cutting-edge standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Textile Technology or a related field.

- At least 6 months of proven experience as a Tech Pack Designer, Fashion Designer or Technical Designer, with a robust portfolio showcasing expertise in clothing design, particularly past products’ tech pack.

- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Excellent visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail, color coordination, and style trends.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills & ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing design requirements.

- Strong English communication skills.



Preferred

- Specialized knowledge of bra products, including design principles, fit, and functionality.

- Advanced skills in other design software.
