Junior Maintenance Supervisor (Static/rotating/electrical/instrument)
Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Arrange material, consumables, tools, working conditions, serving job execution on site.
• Directly work, supervise maintenance jobs at site, provide instructions to working teams to ensure compliance with job steps that are defined in the SWMS, maintenance procedures, safety and quality standards.
• Follow HS&E policies, procedures to identify and mitigate risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behaviors within the site work team, take appropriate actions to resolve these, escalate non-safety issues.
• Coordinate with Operations, HSSE, Asset Integrity or other relevant Sections/ Division PIC for job execution, requiring involvement of multi-parties.
• Review and confirm QA/QC checklist/ check sheet, ITP, QCR to ensure that work quality are achieved.
• Monitor and update progress of job on site to scheduler, and leader.
• Carry out run test (if required), sign off PTW/ Work order before handing over to relevant Divisions, and confirm on actual work completion at site.
• Manage waste disposal, housekeeping at site to enhance safety compliance, and environmental protection, and job effectiveness & efficiencies.
• Proceed returning material and tools when work completed.
• Update actual work steps in worklog and worksheet, record failure code in failure check sheet, actual start/ finish time, job card.
• Review and give feedback for work planned and scheduled by planners/ schedulers to ensure that they are consistently in line with actual site conditions.
• Supervise maintenance execution for static equipment in Turnaround and other projects as well, ensuring the jobs are executed and completed in line with safety, quality and schedule.
Job requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduated from engineering major including mechanical/electrical/control & automation or equivalent
• Minimums 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance/ repair for mechanical/rotating/electrical/instrument equipment or system in manufacturing companies, preferred oil & gas industry
• Good knowledge on related equipment, material, working principles.
• Able to directly work and supervise maintenance/ repair activities for related equipment safely and effectively.
• Good at problem identification and problem-solving skill.
• Able to coordinate relevant parties (Divisions/ Sections) to perform activities requiring involvement of multi-Disciplines.
• Good at report writing and presentation and communication skills.
• Competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to communicate (read, write, listen) in English. TOEIC 450 or equivalent
